Veteran sound mixer Daniel S. McCoy, CAS, has become one of the first professionals to deploy Sound Devices' new 688 mixer/recorder in the field.
The 688 was used on the production of NBC's comedy variety series I Can Do That!, which features a cast of celebrities competing in various challenges. McCoy, who has extensive experience in sound design, worked closely with his crew to integrate the new mixer/recorder into their workflow.
