A new service has launched in time for the upcoming IBC trade show season. The Trade Show Collective, a collaboration between seasoned industry experts Lisa Collins, Ben Davenport, and Clare Plaisted, offers exhibitors tailored assistance to navigate and capitalize on the opportunities at one of Europe's largest media and entertainment events.

The service is designed to complement existing marketing efforts, offering a range of pre-show, on-site, and post-show activities. The Trade Show Collective assists companies in effectively communicating with their target audience and maximizing their investment at IBC.

Pre-show Services

Before the event, The Trade Show Collective provides media relations support, including messaging strategy, press release writing, and award nominations. They also facilitate client communications through email blasts, social media campaigns, lead generation, and demo coaching.

In addition to these activities, the service includes exhibitor logistics management, such as event project planning, vendor coordination, stand build oversight, and travel arrangements. The team handles side events by sourcing venues, managing audiovisual equipment, and creating landing pages to attract attendees.

At-show Support

During the show, media relations efforts continue with face-to-face briefings, customer networking parties, and social media campaigns. Event logistics management includes stand training, staff coordination, lead capture, catering services, and support for panel sessions.

The collective also offers brand amplification through speaking opportunities, fringe event participation, video interviews, and media buying in trade press outlets to further enhance exhibitor visibility.

Post-show Activities

After the show, The Trade Show Collective assists with post-event follow-ups, including meeting summaries, social media campaigns, and email blasts. They also manage CRM sales leads to ensure continued engagement with new contacts.

“Trade shows are a vital platform for connecting with industry leaders,” says Lisa Collins, Managing Director of Dovetail Creative Ltd. “Our goal is to help exhibitors make the most of these connections through strategic planning and execution.”
