FORscene is a cloud based post production software which was launched by Forbidden Technologies back at IBC 2004. Since that time, the software  has been used to log, edit, review, and publish more than three million hours of professional video content! The professional editing tools in this Software as a Service (SaaS) provides for the Management of media through a online director, the Connection through any web browser from anywhere, Monitoring the usage to ensure productivity, Control of access to media via individual user settings, and the Savings in training time and storage costs!

The FORscene cloud software provides for flexible SaaS monthly pricing through seat licenses that over time, offers significant savings! The system requirements are 2GB RAM, 1Mb/sec internet connection and works on Mac (OSX 10.4 or newer) and Windows (XP,Vista or 7) or Linux! What's really neat, is that FORscene has integrated Chat that provides for a community of network of users, a chat room - for companies to discuss projects in a secure environment, and the opportunity to give the end user quick technical support responses in regards to workflows or to answer any questions from a Forbidden Expert!.... Some of the new enhancements to FORscene is the high resolution proxy, the improved edit interface, half-speed playback, and Cloud upgrade to support the newer file formats!

"We work hard to evolve FORscene in a way that makes it ever more valuable to our clients. Visitors to our booth will get a first-hand look at the latest round of improvements, many of which were made as a direct result of feedback from our most active users. We're always looking for feedback, so we invite readers to influence FORscene's next phase of evolution by sharing experiences and suggestions with us during NAB this year. Everyone has the opportunity to change the way Forbidden is seen."
