As the largest media and entertainment technology conference on the East Coast, Content and Communications World (CCW) expects to draw 6,000 attendees and over 250 exhibitors representing all facets of the industry.

Held annually at the Javits Convention Center in New York, NY, this year’s event (November 13-14, 2013), includes Super Sessions—panel discussions featuring high-profile industry experts—as well as complimentary talks and training on how to maximize the latest, most innovative tools and technologies.

As part of this year’s expanded focus on broadcasting and cable, CCW 2013 has scheduled several compelling sessions, including Is Studio Production Keeping You Up Late?

Telycam MixOne / ExploreXE β€” NAB 2026

Set for Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, this session features Cindy Parrish, product line manager for Harris Broadcast along with Kathy Mavrikakis, senior producer for The Late Show with David Letterman.

The two speakers will discuss challenges and solutions related to creating the most relevant content for viewers. Key topics include: how to search for multiple content types and assets, managing multiple versions of shows, and automating digital asset management throughout the studio production workflow.

Since joining Harris Broadcast in January 1989, Parrish has serviced the Global Broadcast Market, managing the implementation, support and development of software and hardware product solutions. She’s also been involved in the analysis, evaluation and design of multiple business software systems including content archiving, media management, media workflow, sales systems, presentation management, program inventory control, operations work flow, library management, digital software management, automation systems, newsroom management systems, sales and traffic systems and program management.

As senior producer for The Late Show with David Letterman, Kathy Mavrikakis manages the massive task of digital asset management amassed by the long running, CBS late-night show.
