New supports were created in response to new demands for remote video production and automated image gathering

Rome, Italy (October 16, 2020) – The effects of the global pandemic continue to impact the film and video industry, either halting production due to new infections or forcing talent to broadcast from their homes or with smaller crews. One of the constant needs that have emerged is social distancing during video production and, by extension, the emerging market for remote video production and automated image gathering. These new needs have accelerated emerging trends in video production and placed a greater emphasis on PTZ cameras. While the latest generation of PTZ cameras can capture high-quality video, these cameras have traditionally lacked professional camera supports. As a result, studios and venues have been forced to create their own solutions. Often this meant, mounting the cameras on walls, using expensive camera supports meant for large cameras, and creating custom attachments on truss. This has made set-up complicated and eliminated versatility on-set.

Lightweight PTZ Stand
