Blackmagic Design products have been integral to the production and post-production of numerous films that received nominations at the 95th Academy Awards. This year marks another milestone for the company, as it has supported over 20 nominated productions across various categories, including technical, documentary, short film, international feature film, and animated films.

Production Use

In production phases, several acclaimed directors and cinematographers opted for Blackmagic Design's cameras and tools. For instance, Martin Bendersky used DaVinci Resolve Studio on set grading for “Argentina, 1985.” Similarly, Ben Davis, BSC, selected the URSA Mini Pro 12K for certain shots in “The Banshees of Inisherin.” Notably, the production team behind “Avatar: The Way of Water” utilized a range of Blackmagic Design equipment, including Teranex AV, Smart Videohub 12G 40x40, DeckLink 8K Pro, UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3, and ATEM 4 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K.
