Blackmagic Design Enhances Film Scanning Capabilities

Blackmagic Design has announced the Cintel Scanner 2, a second-generation model of its popular real-time film scanner. The new device features Thunderbolt 3 and PCIe host computer connections, as well as a new skid plate for 35mm HDR film scanning and timecode output.

The Cintel Scanner 2 offers enhanced film scanning capabilities, including real-time 4K film scanning with HDR support. This makes it ideal for high-end film restoration projects where precise color grading and mastering are crucial.
