Blackmagic has unveiled the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2, enhancing its popular model with new features including an adjustable touchscreen, a larger battery, and support for an optional electronic viewfinder. Available immediately at $1,995, the camera retains the Super 35 HDR image sensor from its predecessor.

Key Enhancements

The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 features a tiltable 5-inch LCD screen for easier framing and focusing. Its larger NP-F570 battery extends shooting time, while the optional OLED viewfinder provides accurate outdoor and handheld shooting.

Advanced Imaging Capabilities

The camera boasts a 6144 x 3456 sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600, delivering high-quality images in various lighting conditions. It supports EF lens mounts for cinematic effects.

User Experience

The intuitive Blackmagic OS uses tap-and-swipe gestures for easy adjustment of settings and access to advanced features like on-screen focus tools and HDR capabilities. Full DaVinci Resolve Studio software is included, enabling professional post-production workflows.
