Bitmovin’s internal playback stream testing system for the Bitmovin Player has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) analysis, enabling it to process more than 1 million stream tests per week. This enhancement allows Bitmovin to conduct extensive testing across over 180 different device types, ensuring consistent high-quality video playback.
New AI-Powered Testing Framework
The new AI-powered testing infrastructure helps identify the root causes of issues by analyzing test results. These insights are used to improve Bitmovin’s weekly SDK releases, guaranteeing that the Bitmovin Player delivers a uniform quality experience across various devices.
Stream Lab Enhancements
Bitmovin has also updated its automated video stream testing solution, Stream Lab, with an improved user interface (UX) to make it easier for video service providers to set up and run tests. The update allows for better grouping of tests based on different device types.
In addition, Bitmovin has expanded the VPN testing locations supported by Stream Lab to include the Middle East region, increasing its global coverage.
