Picture Shop, a prominent post-production company, has welcomed renowned colorist Mitch Paulson to its prestigious roster of artists. His impressive feature film credits include Blade Runner 2049, Skyfall, Sicario, Jungle Cruise, and upcoming releases such as Transformers One and Alien: Romulus.

Paulson's Extensive Experience

In addition to his feature film work, Paulson has a strong background in episodic content. He has collaborated with Taylor Sheridan on series like 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness. His versatility extends to upcoming projects such as Landman.

Industry Recognition

Paulson has received recognition for his work, including an HPA Award for Outstanding Color Grading for the film Jungle Cruise. He was also accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Sciences and the American Society of Cinematographers as an Associate Member in 2019.

A native of Minnesota, Paulson studied 3D animation at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and later earned certifications in VFX technologies from Digital Hollywood Institute of Media Art. He began his career working on trailers before transitioning to long-form projects where he gained a reputation for his visual and visual effects expertise.

Paulson is based in Los Angeles, working out of Picture Shop’s Sunset Gower Studios headquarters. His global availability ensures he can meet the demands of any project, regardless of location.
