Advanced Broadcast Solutions (ABS), a leading provider of professional video and audio systems integration services, has announced the opening of Advanced Broadcast Solutions - Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore on June 17. The new company will offer consulting, design, system integration, maintenance, and support for professional solutions across the region.
Mark Siegel, president of ABS, highlighted the importance of this move: 'We've seen significant demand from our customers in the Asia-Pacific over the last few years, but we were conducting business out of the U.S. This new dedicated company with local resources will enable us to provide even better service for both our new and existing customers.'
Dennis Breckenridge, a seasoned industry veteran, has been appointed as managing director for Advanced Broadcast Solutions - Asia Pte. Ltd. Previously, he was systems sales manager at Grass Valley in Singapore, where he designed and delivered major projects such as the International Broadcast Center for the 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar.
Siegel expressed his enthusiasm about Breckenridge's appointment: 'Dennis is well respected in the professional video industry and has a deep understanding of the Asia Pacific markets. We are excited to have him lead our efforts to become the go-to systems integrator in Singapore.'
