The multi-talented actress and producer America Ferrera will be receiving the NAB Television Chairman's Award at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino on Monday, April 24th during the NAB Show Television Luncheon. Ms. Ferrera has been recognized throughout her performance career by the Golden Globe, Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild Award. She is best known as playing the role of Betty Suarez on ABC's comedy “Ugly Betty.”
Of course, America is not limited to just performing! She is currently doing double duty, producing and acting in NBC's workplace comedy "Superstore" which is on every Thursday evening from 8/7c (check your local listing for channel information). Also upcoming, Ferrera will be executive producer to MACRO's digtial series "Gente-Fied", a dramatic comedy featuring an all Latino cast, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival to raving reviews!
