The Fourteenth Annual Storage Visions Conference (partner program to the 2015 International CES) awards were presented during the reception at the end of the first day of the show at the Riviera Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The awards recognized companies advancing the state of the art in storage technologies utilized in consumer electronics, the media and entertainment industries, visionary products for the digital content value chain and digital storage end users.
- The awards included the Ninth Storage Visions Art of Storage award, recognizing a product for its best-in-class aesthetics, ease of use and industrial design. The winner of the 2015 Art of Storage award was the ULLtraDIMM Implementation by Diablo Technologies and SanDisk.
- The Consumer Storage award was won by the Samsung 850 EVO SSD.
- The award for Mobile Consumer Storage went to Other World Computing for their Envoy Pro mini-portable SSD Storage Solution.
- The Enabling Cloud Storage Technology award goes to SanDisk for their Optimus MAX 4TB SAS SSD.
- Diablo Technologies received the Enabling Performance Storage Technology award for its Hardware and Software Storage Solution.
- The Enabling Collaborative Storage Technology award was won by Quantum for their StorNext Pro Solutions.
- The award for Professional Class Storage went to Samsung Semiconductor for its Samsung Green SSD SM1715 3.2 TB.
- DataDirect Networks won the award for Professional Class System for its Storage Fusion Xcelerator.
- SNIA NVM Programming Technical Working Group was given the Professional Storage Development award for its work on Creating Next Generation NVM Programming Models.
- The award for Media and Entertainment Storage Company went to Hitachi Data Systems for their effective trade-offs of cost and performance with their Unified Storage VM.
- Kroll OnTrack was awarded the Services and Support Company for its Erasure Verification Services.
- Fox Networks Media Services in Culver City and HBO Asia won the Visionary Content Storage Application award for providing accelerated editorial, rendering, and transcoding workflows.
- APRA AMCOS for Visionary High Performance Storage Application award for high performance royalty processing
