At its core, the League operates on a simple belief: if you point a camera to tell a story, you're a filmmaker. That philosophy shapes everything, from editorial coverage and industry interviews to professional development resources and creative opportunities available to members. The League also serves as a national coalition of filmmaking user groups, uniting five founding organizations: Cinematography for Actors, the Los Angeles Post Production Group, Blackmagic Collective, Filmmakers Alliance, and the Latinxorcists. Together, these communities represent thousands of independent creators working at every level of the industry.
