CacheWave

CacheWave enables broadcasters, OTT platforms, and live streaming providers to deliver ultra-low latency video by moving content delivery from distant cloud data centers directly into ISP access networks. By streaming from edge nodes located just one hop away from viewers, CacheWave dramatically reduces startup time, eliminates buffering, and ensures consistently smooth playback. The platform supports 4K/8K streaming today and is future-ready for ultra-high-resolution formats (12K+), bringing IMAX-scale video experiences to homes over the internet. At NAB, we demonstrate this through a live side-by-side comparison. In the baseline setup, video is delivered via a traditional cloud/CDN path, exhibiting startup delays, buffering events, and throughput limitations. In contrast, CacheWave streams identical high-resolution content from multiple local edge nodes, achieving near-instant playback, stable throughput, and zero buffering.
